Announcement: Gluck Purchases Campbell Henri Group
07/08/2007

Gluck merge with Campbell Henri in NZ to create a one stop solution for the Fashion Industry.

Gluck is pleased to announce the successful merger with Campbell Henri Group. Campbell Henri is a successful New Zealand based supply chain provider specialising in the textiles, clothing and footwear industry. Campbell Henri has developed a unique financing facility to allow offshore companies to trade in the New Zealand market without being formally registered, thus avoiding auditing costs.

The merger will result in Gluck becoming the leading Third Party Logistics provider for the fashion industry throughout New Zealand. Our existing and target fashion clientele will gain a competitive advantage through the choice of a single provider from international purchase order through to proof of delivery at the retail store.

The merged entity’s service offering includes the people expertise, information systems and physical infrastructure to efficiently manage the following key components of the supply chain, including:

• Offshore laboratory fabric testing and finished goods QC;

• Offshore carton, inner carton and piece pick and pack per store, per state;

• Global air and sea freight forwarding including customs clearance;

• Trans Tasman Third Party Warehousing and Distribution including garment pressing.

A critical requirement of successful supply chains is the integration of information systems between the client and the provider. Gluck has proven capabilities and knowledge of leading Enterprise Management Systems (EMS) for the fashion industry including: AP21, SEAMS, Futura, Remedy and SVI.
